Help us get a free iPod
As faithful readers to this blog know (and I can't imagine there are more than ten of you), we lost our trusty iPod to a technological tragedy in October. We've remaind iPod-less since then.
Well, we've decided to try one of those free iPod programs. We were told of a program to get a free iPod quite some time ago and thought it was a hoax. Well, we happened upon the blog of a friend of a friend who wrote an entry about how she tried one of these and actually received an iPod upon completion of the program. So we’re going to give it a whirl because we really miss our iPod (especially when traveling) and don’t have the money to fix it.
And, if you’d like, you can help!
Part of the program requires us to get at least five people to sign up for an account through the company offering these free iPods. Then, those five need to try one of the free trial offers listed when you go through the registration process (which includes an annoying array of optional surveys—you can decline all of them). You don’t even have to join whatever service it is you choose to try—you need only do the free trial and cancel at the end of the trial period.
I know, it sounds time-consuming and annoying (and it includes giving out credit card information for the trial), but we’d really appreciate it if you would humor us. And we'll let you know if all of this works, so you can get your free iPod!
Okay, here’s the link you need to follow to get started.
Once again, thanks for considering this craziness. We appreciate it.
